BSc Physics Honours

The BSc Physics Honours program aims to build strong conceptual & analytical skills in core physics (Mechanics, Quantum, Thermo, Electronics) and related areas, developing researchers & leaders for industry/academia, with outcomes like problem-solving, project design and deeper study in allied fields (Math, Chem, IT) through hands-on experiments and research-focused modules within the Four-Year Undergraduate Program (CU-FYUGP) structure.

Program Goals & Outcomes (General)

Deep Understanding: Grasp fundamental concepts in Classical Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Thermodynamics, Optics, Quantum Mechanics, Electronics, etc..
Practical Skills: Develop strong experimental skills for data analysis, interpretation and presentation.
Problem Solving: Apply physics principles to solve complex real-world problems using math & computational models.
Research & Innovation: Design and execute projects addressing industry/research needs, fostering entrepreneurial leadership.
Interdisciplinary Knowledge: Gain foundational knowledge for further studies in Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, etc.
