BSc Psychology Honours

The BSc Psychology Honours aims to build strong theoretical knowledge, practical skills in assessment/research and ethical understanding of human behavior, preparing students for diverse careers by integrating core concepts (cognition, clinical, counseling) with research methods for personal and societal development, fostering a scientific temperament for lifelong learning.

Program Goals & Objectives

• Generate Interest & Foundational Knowledge: Develop interest in psychology and understand basic processes, theories (cognitive, clinical, counseling).
• Skill Development: Equip students with skills in psychological assessment, experimentation, research and interpersonal communication.
• Research & Application: Initiate interest in research, apply knowledge to personal/social issues and sensitize students to community needs.
• Ethical & Professional Growth: Foster ethical conduct, human values and professional readiness for roles in mental health, HR, research, etc.
