Four-Year Undergraduate Programme

The PG Department of English proudly offers the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) in English, aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Designed to provide a holistic, multidisciplinary and flexible learning experience, the FYUGP lays a strong foundation in English language, literature and communication, while offering students the freedom to explore diverse academic interests.

Through a structured blend of major, minor, multidisciplinary, vocational and skill-based courses, the programme enhances not only academic knowledge but also life skills and employability. The curriculum integrates classical and contemporary literature, literary theory, cultural studies and language pedagogy, along with ample opportunities for research, internships and community engagement.
