In 2022 June the Department won the District Level FIRST PRIZE in the competition held as part of the World Day against Child Labour conducted by the CHILDLINE Malappuram for the Social WorkDepartments in Malappuram Districts.
In the year 2023, the Department conducted the debut State Level Seminar for Social Work professionals and students – Sowome 1.0 in the campus with the participants of students of social work from various colleges from different Universities.
