The Social Work Alumni Association is a noble cause of action to unite and keep in touch with the present and past Social Work students. The Whatsapp groups created for the purpose is actively connecting students both in the classroom and in the field. The group includes all the teaching staff who worked over the years and the students of the department who completed their courses in various academic years from the inception. The placement opportunities and vacancies in various organisations are shared among the members. The passed-out students who are placed in various institutions are always a motivation for the students to dream high and achieve more. The proposed State Level/National Level Seminar – Sowome (The Social Workers Meet) is a platform for all the students to come and meet in the campus every year.
