The PG Department of Physics, through its B.Sc. and M.Sc. Physics programmes aim to develop students into scientifically literate, research-oriented and socially responsible individuals. Upon successful completion of the programmes, students will be able to:

For B.Sc. Physics Graduates:

  • Understand core concepts in classical and modern physics.
  • Apply mathematical and scientific methods to solve physical problems.
  • Perform basic experiments and interpret data accurately.
  • Communicate scientific ideas effectively.
  • Be prepared for higher studies, teaching or technical careers.

For M.Sc. Physics Graduates:

  • Master advanced topics in theoretical and applied physics.
  • Conduct independent research using modern tools and techniques.
  • Communicate and present scientific findings confidently.
  • Collaborate in interdisciplinary and research-oriented environments.
  • Be ready for careers in academia, research and scientific industries.
