Upon successful completion of the B.Com. (Computer Application) programme, students will be able to:

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge in core commerce subjects such as accounting, business law, taxation and financial management, integrated with practical computer application skills.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using computer technologies such as MS Office, Tally, programming languages, database management systems and e-commerce platforms for business operations.
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills in business scenarios using digital tools, data analysis and automation techniques.
  • Develop and manage business information systems effectively to support decision-making and enhance organisational productivity.
  • Understand the role of technology in modern commerce, including digital marketing, e-governance, cybersecurity and online business models.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in both written and oral formats suited to business and technical environments.
  • Exhibit ethical responsibility, teamwork and leadership in digital and business contexts.
  • Pursue higher education or careers in fields such as accounting, business analytics, software services, banking, finance and entrepreneurship with a competitive edge in IT applications.
