Learning Outcomes

The BA Economics programme focuses on developing student’s ability to:

1. Critically evaluate and apply economic theories and techniques.
2. Demonstrate subject-specific thinking skills, transferrable to problem-solving and decision-making.
3. Pursue career in Economics and related areas.
4. Assimilate knowledge of fundamental economics concepts and theoretical propositions.
5. Articulate an awareness of social and community contexts within the field of Economics.

These outcomes are achieved through a curriculum that include core courses, complementary courses, open, elective and audit courses, along with various teaching-learning methodologies.
