VISION

The PG Department of Physics offers B.Sc. Physics and M.Sc. Physics programmes with a vision to promote scientific skills, foster innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration and scientific advancement. The department aspires to inspire students to explore the wonders of the physical universe with curiosity and integrity, to create an intellectually vibrant environment that nurtures academic growth and scientific inquiry and to empower graduates to become responsible scientists, educators and innovators who contribute to the progress of science and society as a whole. Through this vision, the department aims to shape future leaders in physics who are equipped to meet global challenges with knowledge, creativity and purpose.

The mission of the PG Department of Physics is to foster a deep understanding of the fundamental principles of physics through high-quality education, hands-on experimentation and innovative research. The department is committed to:
