DEPARTMENT OF SOCIOLOGY
ABOUT
Established in 2015, the Department of Sociology offers its students teachings on multiple areas of Sociology including religion, politics, economy, family and kinship through applied, skill based and elective courses prescribed by the University. We have in place well-designed curricula comprising texts and books by eminent sociologists to help our students learn topics on Sociology better. The department emphasizes on interactive learning among students and with its highly qualified and skilled faculty. Our college is the preferred destination for students to pursue Bachelors in Sociology.
VISION
To develop students by value-based quality education with commitment to their ethical and multidimensional development which will contribute towards their educational, social and economic wellbeing. To inculcate goals and values stated in the Constitution of India among the students with the knowledge of education. To develop rational thinking, scientific temper and building youth through value-based education. To acquaint the students about emerging issues of Indian society.
